Art For the Home

I went junkin' in one of my local thrift stores and came across this oil (or acrylic?) painting which I paid a whopping $1.99 for!

It instantly reminded me of Kim's blog Dear Daisy Cottage which I truly miss.

An old woman even tried to steal my painting right out from under me. Oh, yes she did! I plan on painting the frame once I decide on a color.

Decisions, decisions...

Love those colors! How about a dark green? Angela

Angela, I was thinking about a green! :)

Great deal for the painting. Black to me would be too stark and cold for this painting. I don't mind the brown frame at all.

I miss Kim too! I vote for chippy white! It kind of reminds me of an old Home Interiors print and frame. Do you have any details on it's origin?

Hi Tracy. Such a beautiful watercolor painting. How cute that an elderly woman tried to take it from you!

What a great deal for such a beautiful painting. Love the frame. Can't wait to see what color you'll paint it. I miss Dear Daisy Cottage too. Do you visit her other site, Imagery by Kimberly? She's a great photographer!
