Easy Homemade Doughnuts

Buy a can of big fat biscuits.

Poke a hole in each biscuit with thumb & form into doughnuts.

Drop into grease & brown them on both sides until done - about 2 minutes on each side.

Sprinkle with powdered sugar.

Note: You could also make your own glaze or frost with chocolate frosting...Yum!

Homemade Doughnut Glaze
1/3 cup boiling water
1 cup powdered sugar
Dash vanilla, if desired, optional

Add water to a small saucepan and bring to a boil.
Add powdered sugar to a small mixing bowl.
Add boiling water to powdered sugar.
Add dash vanilla if using.
Mix until smooth.

Drizzle or spoon over doughnuts.

This looks like something my family would like. Miss T might also enjoy making them. I really need to get her in the kitchen more. The girl needs to learn to cook! :-) Thanks Tracy for such a good, easy recipe.
