Christmas Shopping

Soon, Alfred and I will bundle up against the cold wind and rain and go shopping for our children's Christmas gifts. I have been looking forward to this for weeks now and the day has finally arrived! We have a cash budget of $300 to spend, wish lists written out, and a list of stores to visit. And I get a few hours alone with my sweetheart. :)

What are you doing on this Saturday?

hi Tracy, sounds like a wonderful Christmas outing! We are snug as bugs at home today with an ice and snow storm bearing down us...nope not in the midwest...we are in western Oregon and this is rare weather for us!

Hope you two have fun shopping today, Tracy. I am, finally, going to get some decorating done and wrap some gifts.

My daughter's are babysitting for a couple at church this morning so they can do this. My twins had a friend spend the night, so we have three 9yo boys here playing, and my older two are coming home for the weekend, and to celebrate my husband's birthday tomorrow. Have fun shopping!

we did a little shopping this morning and got a few stocking stuffers.

Tonight, we will drive up to Ponca City to shop at Aldi, eat supper out and then see Ponca's big light show in one of their parks.

Dear Tracy,
we are still trying to make most of our presents for our family and have just managed to find, we think, still hoping we will be able to buy $50 (Australian money)for each of our children. So we will be trying to be as creative and thrifty as possible.
Have fun shopping. I love chooseing gifts for everyone.
