Autumn has arrived in south Alabama. The morning air was cool and crisp at 51 degrees. Time to start making all of the wonderful Autumn foods that we enjoy this time of the year. It is perfect weather to spend time out-of-doors in the fresh air.

I just returned from dropping two of my cats (Zoe & Clover) at the vet to get spayed. They are not going to be very happy with me, but it will be best in the long-run. I'll just be glad to get my kitties back home again tomorrow morning!

I am in the midst of RA flare up. I overdid it this weekend and am now paying the price. For now, I am just doing what absolutely must be done and getting my children to help and the rest is let go until the flare up ceases.

Hope you have an enjoyable day!

Dear Tracy,
I love the look of your blog!
It is cooler here this morning ~ I hope it lasts. We are finally able to open the windows and let some fresh air inside!
I hope you feel better ~ take it easy.

So happy that your Autumn has finally arrived! Enjoy...

So not happy that you over-did and have an RA flare up. :-( -le sigh- Please remember, next time. :-) To not over-do, I mean. Oh I know. It's only human, and we do forget our Wisdom, lots. But let's try not to forget it. :-)

I love the new blog look! The header pic is grrrrreat! The background green is soft and pleasing to the eye. And you can still use your fav Pink. :-)

Plus!!!!! A very simple Sidebar! Oh how refreshing it is to me anyway, to find a blog with a short-and-sweet Sidebar! I often wonder if bloggers [with a huuuuumongeous lot of Sidebar stuff] really think that all their readers read all their Sidebar Stuff, every time?!?

And if not, why keep all that Sidebar Stuff up there?!?

Thank you!

Gentle hugs,
Aunt Amelia

Oh and one more thing. :-) Thank you for NOT using one of the seasonal [and too-busy looking] free 'Backgrounds.'

Oh my, how relaxing to find a blog, like yours, which hasn't grabbed a Free Autumn Background. As I said, they always look toooooo busy to me. And they compete with the post and its pictures. Compete! Compete! Compete! Eeeeeeeeeeek! >,-)

Why compete with our own posts? ,-)

I'm glad you got your cats spayed. That's being a responsible pet owner. Autumn is in Illinois too. It almost frosted last night! Can't wait til the leaves are completely turned. Hope you get feeling better. Have a nice day. Kathy in Illinois

Hi Tracy,
Hope you're feeling better today and taking it easy. Bet your cats are happy to be back home. I love the name of your blog, it's one of my favorite movies (The Enchanted Cottage) of all time and was just introduced to it about two years ago. Please send Autumn to California, I've been waiting through many hot days.

How pretty your blog is today! It's getting cooler here, too. It stirs up my soul and makes me feel so ALIVE.

So sorry to read about your RA. Take care of you, lady.

Hope your RA settles down...I'm in double thumb splints trying to get ready for a jewelry show...not the most comfortable thing. Just learned I need both thumb joints replaced... Not even going to think about it for now!!!! Get some rest, xoxo~Kathy @ Sweet Up-North Mornings...

Feel better, and hope the kitties feel better, too. My dad has RA, and I suspect I may be developing it myself! Not fun! Take it slow.
