Baking Day

Yesterday was spent getting the house in order for Christmas. Today, the girls and I, will make Christmas goodies and treats. Sugar cookies, banana bread, cocoa mix...maybe even candy cane bath salts.

The atmosphere is bubbling with excitement and anticipation. It is the simple joys that contain the most magic this holiday season.

I love baking days! Your season does sound simply joyful, lately when I have been visiting you here I come away with a big grin and a refreshment of my own Christmas spirit. It's a lovely way to start my day.

I made fudge, baked a bunch of cookies and some rum balls. I think it is one of my favorite part of Christmas. I make up plates and take them to the neighbors. It always makes me smile. Baking cookies with little girls would make me smile too. You and your family have a wonderful Christmas.

My favourite part about the holidays too, baking! Did you see my pumpkin pie? I didn't do sugar cookies this year although that's the only long-time baking tradition in my family. I'm making cinnamon buns on boxing day. Candy cane bath salts?! What on earth are they? I'm glad your home is bubbling with holiday cheer. Blessings to you Tracy!
