October's Moon

October's moon shines down on me
So big and bright
In the still of the night
Its light draws me to untold mysteries
The fairies gather round
A merry little jig they dance
The trees sing softly
As the wind gently blows
I hear a wolf howl in the distance
Magic surrounds the moon's glow
