Storybook Quote

'Tis better to live in a little house where there's no more work than can be done in a day, and decent food for everyone, than in the finest castle in the county where every soul has either too much or too little than is good for them!

~ Cook from "Little House in the Highlands" by Melissa Wiley

Hi Sujatha,

Thanks for visiting my blog! I have no secret to homeschooling my children. We have our good & bad days.

I do believe that learning can & should be enjoyable. We don't sit over workbooks all day. We play board games, work in our little flower garden, bake cookies, draw in our nature journals, take walks, etc.

Sometimes when my children are being difficult, we lay the books aside and do something fun. We may go to the beach, park, or zoo. Or we may go get a bunch of videos from the library and have a movie day.

I hope this helps! Please come back to visit when you can. :)
